Wafa Sultan on the "evils of Islam"

Millions of people have seen American psychiatrist Dr. Wafa Sultan's debate with a Muslim cleric, which was first shown on al-Jazeera television. In 2006, TIME magazine nominated Dr. Sultan as one of the world's most influential people. Sultan has appeared on many radio and TV shows in English, and regularly writes articles in Arabic that are read throughout the Muslim world. Her main purpose in life is to further the understanding of Islam and its effect on both the Muslim and non-Muslim world.

Ibn Ishaq (pronounced Isaac), the first biographer of Muhammad narrates the story of the conquest of Kheibar. He reports that Muhammad, without warning, raided this fortress town, inhabited by Jews and killed many unarmed people as they were fleeing. Among those captured was Kinana. He writes:

The dictionary definition of terrorism is “the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear." Sadly, we are living in an age that we do not need to consult a dictionary to learn the meaning of terrorism. Even our children know about it and are affected by it.

Stealing and Looting in Islam is not prohibited, unless it is done against the non-Muslims. Then it is lawful.

 There were three Jewish tribes living in and around Yathrib, the Banu Qainuqa’, the Ban Nadir and the Banu Quraiza.  Once Muhammad realized that they are not going to accept him as their new prophet, he turned against them. He banished the first two, after confiscating their properties and wealth and massacred the last one.
